Audio quality is not a deciding factor as long as we can hear you sing.
Files must be uploaded in mp3 format.
You may include a link to a YouTube video of yourself singing with our tracks or your own accompaniment if you cannot record and submit an mp3.
No feedback will be given for submissions.

Mercury Records is searching for a true talent. We're looking for a male rock and country singer, ages 18-26 with range & twang. The right person will be signed to the label, make an album with a multi-platinum producer, promote it and take it on the road. This is a rare opportunity to submit directly to our A&R department.

This is NOT a TV show, a contest, or marketing scheme. Submissions are free and 100% legitimate. We will continue to accept submissions until we find the perfect fit.

We would like to hear you sing the songs below. Download the instrumental versions and add your vocal. When you're done, upload the songs and a photo using the form below. You may also record your own version (such as guitar/vocal) but it must be one of these three songs. For each track we've provided a reference link and a link to song lyrics.

This audition (the "Audition") is only open to male residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are between the ages of 18 years and 26.

Each audio recording submitted and uploaded by you must embody your original singing performance of one of the compositions (the "Submission").

You agree to follow all of UMGN's rules, directions, and instructions in all matters relating to the Audition, which rules are subject to change at UMGN's sole discretion. You will accept any and all decisions of UMGN on discretionary matters (including but not limited to the Audition process) as final. You agree that your participation in the Audition is within UMGN's sole discretion and that UMGN is not obligated to consider your Submission or include you in the Audition. You understand that UMGN may require you to provide additional information and that you may be required to demonstrate to the satisfaction of UMGN prior to consideration for further participation in the Audition that you are not a party to any agreement (written or oral) that, in UMGN's sole discretion, would prohibit you from participating in the Audition and/or entering into any contracts required by UMGN. You acknowledge that UMGN may require you to sign further documents as a condition of your participation in the Audition. You acknowledge that UMGN reserves the right, exercisable at any time in its sole discretion, to disqualify you from the Audition should you at any stage supply untruthful, inaccurate, or misleading personal information, fail to abide by the rules or regulations of the Audition, or for any other reason or for no reason at all.

You understand and agree that UMGN is not assuming any liability or responsibility resulting from your Submission or your attempt to submit a Submission or your participation in or attempt to participate in this Audition. By uploading your Submission and participating in the Audition, you release UMGN, its assignees, licensees, agents, and affiliates, and any and all others connected with the Submission or Audition, and each of their related parent companies, subsidiaries and/or affiliated companies, and the officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from or relating thereto.
